This neighborhood is one of the greenest and safest in the city, with lots of amenities for recreation, education, art, and outdoor activities like biking and hiking. The expansive green area is perfect for families but is also popular with the older millennials due to its nightlife and affordability. Some of the parks are the Wissahickon Valley Park and Gorgas Park where a lot of festivals are held. It also has a lot of shops and restaurants, which makes trips to the city a choice rather than a necessity.
