Torresdale
This neighborhood sits along the Delaware River and though traffic can be an inconvenience, the area is serviced by SEPTA and the Delaware Expressway, so you have the option not to drive. It has beautiful homes, with lots of amenities available like diners, markets, pubs, as well as the Torresdale Frankford Country Club. The homes are affordable, and offers peace and quiet away from the city. There are a lot of schools to choose from, with the addition of the Torresdale Boy’s Club for sporting activities. Nightlife is not exactly vibrant, but convenience stores and necessary shops are plenty.
