It’s the most expensive item that Iran exports from its shores, luxury caviar from sturgeon fish and belugas. And while most of the cheaper cans cost around $75 for a single ounce, some of the most expensive Iranian caviar can cost up to a whopping $34,500 for just a little over two pounds. That’s an extravagant amount of money for some roe in a can.
