Known as the infamous “Milwaukee Cannibal,” Jeffrey Dahmer murdered 17 men, most of whom he picked up at gay bars, from 1978 to 1991, after which he would engage in necrophilia and cannibalism, often mutilating his victims and keeping some of their body parts. He would even catalogue them by taking pictures, and in some cases, performed lobotomy by drilling holes in their heads and pouring hydrochloric acid in an attempt to make them “zombies.” His high IQ of 144 would not inspire thoughts of him being a genius, but of a madman. He was eventually caught and sentenced to life behind bars in 1992, but after two years in prison, was killed by a fellow inmate at the Columbia Correctional Institution in Portage, Wisconsin.
