9. Tierpoort South Africa Sighting
In the sky above Tierpoort, South Africa, multiple orange lights were witnessed on separate occasions in May of 2011, travelling at speeds faster than that of commercial airliners. The objects, said to be around 20 in number, were observed and photographed between May 11 and 21, 2011, were similar to those seen during a later encounter in October 2011 by a Mr. Van Greuning, who photographed two of the fireballs as they travelled southwards towards the town of Harrismith, also in South Africa.
