10. Booysens South Africa Encounter

On July 21 and 22, 2010, residents of Booysens, a suburb located in western Pretoria, South Africa, were astounded by a mysterious sight in the evening sky. A set of clear, bright lights hovered above them in triangular pattern, remaining in place for at least 2 hours. The object was described to be “heart-shaped,” and had different colored lights around it, but according to one resident, Angela van der Spuy, what was most noticeable was white lights shining straight down from underneath each of the aircrafts.

The Johannesburg Planetarium and the South African Air Force offered no answers to what the lights could be.
