11. Xiaoshan Airport Contact
On July 7, 2010, an unidentified flying object was spotted by flight crew preparing to land at the Xiaoshan Airport in Hangzhou, China at around 8:40pm. Air traffic controllers were notified, alerting aviation authorities who responded immediately, grounding all outbound aircrafts and diverting inbound flights to Ningbo and Wuxi Airports. The sighting was confirmedMidd by residents who released photos taken on the same afternoon of the closure, of a hovering object bathed in golden light which had a comet-like tail.
