13. Middleburg and Witbank Sighting
In 2009, between February 27 and March 6, two formations of orange-red objects flying high up in the South African sky were observed by residents of Middleburg and Witbank, towns which were 25 miles apart. The first formation, which consisted of 7 objects, was seen at around 9:51pm, flying westwards from Middleburg towards Witbank before disappearing in the clouds. A week later, a second formation, now consisting of 23 objects, was again reported, this time flying in the opposite direction.
