20. Tinley Park Lights

On August 21, 2004, three red orbs were seen floating across the suburban night sky, puzzling residents who were out enjoying the last days of summer having outdoor block parties and barbecues. The spectacle was again witnessed on three other separate occasions, once on October 31, 2004, another on October 1, 2005 and the last, on October 31, 2006. The globes usually stop and seem to hover after floating for some distance in a triangle pattern, these shows, lasting for as long as half an hour each time.
