25. Phoenix Lights
On March 13, 1997, a series of sightings of a mysterious craft flying across the evening sky were reported in Arizona and Nevada, between the hours 7:30pm and 10:30pm. A V-shaped object, described to be the size of a commercial airliner, was first seen above Henderson, Nevada, travelling in a southeasterly direction then crossing into the state of Arizona. Witnesses said that the object resembled a carpenter’s square, with five lights set into it, and that it flew silently, refuting military claims that the lights came from fighter jets conducting exercises in the area.
