This Nigerian national is the founder of BUA Group, a conglomerate with interests in cement production, real estate, sugar refining, steel, oil, gas, shipping, and port concessions. He started in business by working for his father, a successful businessman from Nigeria’s northern region. Eventually he went on his own in 1988, and was importing sugar, rice, edible oils, as well as steel and iron rods. His company was then the BUA International Limited, which he later-on expanded it into the BUA Group.
