Neighbor’s History

As for Dawn herself, she moved to Eau Claire, Wisconsin, when she and her long time partner, Kurt Casperson, decided to leave Greenwood for a better home. They spoke to a real estate agent and were given the option to look into a cottage style fixer-upper on the west side. Landing this house wasn’t easy. In fact, they went through three attempts to close the deal. For anyone else, this would be reason enough to walk away. Fate, of course, had other plans.

Staying Persistent

Kurt had wanted to give up when the plan fell through, but Dawn was insistent about the house. There was something about it that she liked and she just couldn’t explain why she hadn’t wanted to let go. In her persistence, she had finally gotten the contract signed and they were ready to move in. She was extremely excited about it and she didn’t know why.
