“Years ago, school aged kids had to walk to their friend’s house if they wanted to hang out with them. If someone had a problem with another person, it was brought up face-to-face and solved right then and there, not through comments on a Facebook post. Years ago, people had to approach their friends in the grocery store or at the local gas station to ask them how they were doing or what they were up to. There was no texting, no instant messaging, no Snapchat app that instantly updated the world on what everyone was doing every day. With all of this new technology we have gained, we have lost our ability (and often, the reason) to converse one-on-one with each other.”
