Make the Mistake of Bringing your Actual Passport while Sightseeing

Aside from theft, there are many other ways to lose your passport. Instead, leave it safely at the hotel room safe (if there is one), and bring a colored copy of your passport. It is best to have several photocopies done, and keeping it in different places – your luggage, carry on, etc. it will surely ruin your vacation if your passport gets lost.
