Do Not Assume People Can Understand English
Colombians can hardly speak or understand English. They are a Spanish speaking nation. Whether it is because they don’t care to learn the language, or prefer to keep their Spaish roots intact, rarely will you find a local you can properly converse with, unless of course, you can speak Spanish.
