Never Criticize Colombia By Comparing It With Your Country
Most Colombians get really irked when they come across foreigners who belittle their country by comparing it to the foreigners’ homeland. Whether the foreigner is stressing a point, or boasting about their own country, they should not do this as it makes the Colombian lose face. An example would be, “ Your street vendors are ridiculous, in my country we don’t tolerate this…” If you can’t say anything positive, then better not to say anything.
