Never Forget To Politely Greet People
Strangers in Colombia always politely greet each other with Buenos Dias (good morning), Buenas Tardes (good afternoon), or Buenas Noches (good evening), when they come across each other. This is also true with waiters, doormen, taxi drivers, etc. Not doing so is considered rude. So as a visitor, try not to be rude and arrogant. Besides, there’s no harm in a friendly greeting.
