Never Expect Colombia To Be Hot Everywhere
While most of the country is hot, especially along the coast, some places are not. Bogota, the capital city, is just one example. It is 2600 meters above sea level, which is on a plateau in the Andes Mountains. It is not hot, and at night can get cold. So don’t expect to wear your flip-flops and sleeveless shirts in Bogota, you will regret it if you are not prepared.
