Forget to Pack Slippers
Some Swiss households might require you to remove your shoes when inside, so always ask the owner of the house if you should. Many of us aren’t used to this custom, but since we’re the ones visiting, we should do as the locals do. If you’re staying in a place where shoes aren’t allowed inside, make sure to bring a pair of slippers with you.
