Although the strip is truly a quintessential part of Las Vegas, there are other areas worth visiting, like Freemont Street. Located further downtown, Freemont offers fun and exciting things for tourists to do like listen to free live music, watch the street performers, check out the souvenir stalls and of course, try the tons of other places to shop and eat. Plus 6 p.m. onwards promises to be an exciting show of lights that happens every hour on the hour until 1 a.m.
