The city and county of Denver is the capital and most populous municipality of the state of Colorado. It’s nicknamed the “Mile High City” because its official elevation is exactly one mile (5280 feet) above sea level. Denver dates back to the old west era, including the site of the infamous Gold rush. The weather may change, being cold one day, and hot the next. However, Denver is blessed with a dry, sunny climate with more annual hours of sun than Miami Beach. 300 days a year of fun in the sun!
