In the city of many firsts, you must not miss the country’s first zoo. The Philadelphia Zoo opened in 1874 keeps more than 1,300 animals from all around the world many of which are endangered. It covers roughly 42 acres and features a kids’ petting zoo, interactive educational exhibits, paddleboats among other fun things to do.
