12. Cereal

Cereals have been a staple of American breakfasts since time immemorial, making for a quick morning meal for people on the go. Because of its popularity, many stores have their own cereal brands, Whole Foods included. However, not all of these are priced the same.
Whole Foods Market’s organic store-brand cereals cost an average of $2 dollars more than those of Safeway’s, Target’s or Trader Joe’s. If you aren’t that conscious about your cereal being organic, it would be better to go for name-brand favorites which you can buy for much less at regular grocery stores.
