26. Vegetable Oils

Processed vegetable oils sold in Whole Foods stores (or any other store) such as soy, canola, corn and safflower, contain high levels of Omega-6 fatty acids, all of which cause inflammatory symptoms, particularly in the blood vessels, when taken in large amounts. The best alternatives to these are coconut, avocado, sesame, ghee and EVOO, which are not only flavorful but healthy as well.
