Don’t Get The Tourist Pass
Using public transportation is one of the best ways to get around Hong Kong, but whatever you do, don’t get the tourist pass. One pass can cost anywhere between $34 to $50 Hong Kong dollars for a 4-day pass, an amount that you most probably won’t finish since one ride is only around $2.30 Hong Kong. Better to just get an Octopus Card and load that. Not only can you use them on public transport, they also work in convenience stores, pharmacies, even fast food restaurants.
