Don’t Ask Why They Speak English ‘So Well’
Remember, Hong Kong was colonized by the most prominent English speaking country there is, the United Kingdom. So if the people that you come into contact with in Hong Kong speak English ‘so well,’ don’t ask them why. Just because they are speaking their own native language doesn’t mean that they can’t speak yours.
