Slavomier is a web and user designer who used his skills to craft an anti-social media campaign that exposes some ugly truths about society’s addiction to technology.

The artist speculates that in 50 years, social media will be compared with smoking because it is so addictive. He aims to show how it steals peoples’ attention and makes the populace more engaged but less joyful. Sometimes, it even causes social media users to become depressed, for they are constantly comparing their lives with the edited, filtered images exposed through Facebook and Twitter.

Because Mier believes change is needed, he created the following images in the same style as Tobacco packaging which warns users about the potential problems of the product. The campaign is thought-provoking, to say the least.
