At the discretion of their doctor, the babies were born under a caesarean procedure at 33 weeks. Although considered early for regular pregnancies – 40 weeks is considered the norm – the babies had to be born early due to possible complications if kept inside too long. Bethani had said, “I’m definitely nervous about the birth, but I’m also really excited to see them.”
