The ship’s employees get paid peanuts for all the hard work they do and the time they put in. While onboard, they hardly get any rest. In fact, some of them don’t get days off. If you want to tip waiters or splurge a little on extra services, go for it if it means giving money to a hardworking man whose main goal is to provide for his family. A little goodwill goes a long, long way. Plus, you’ll find that they’ll also be more pleasant around you and will be more than willing to give in to your simple requests.
