20 Tourist Pictures That Will Make You Laugh Or Rethink Your Way Of Traveling

20. Want A Ride?

It’s probably a really nice unforgettable experience to ride on the back of a 9-feet tall, 4-ton animal while exploring wild land and deep rivers. But the truth is that elephants don’t let people ride on their backs. So, in places like Thailand where they are endangered species and there are only about 2,000 of them left, they are tortured when babies and pulled away from their mothers in a “taming” process called Phajaan, or “the crush”. The baby elephants are put in cages or holes in the ground where they’re unable to move, then profit from them when they are adults. Needless to say, on this ride, there isn’t space for anybody else but those two, they are still wild after all.
