This US tourist was severely injured by a bull attack in Western Salamanca resulting in damaged thighs, sphincter and back muscles. The wounds included a 16-inch (40 cm) goring in the thigh which required a three-hour operation. The tourist, identified as Mr. Miller, successfully recovered after the surgery. Not fun, though.
