Lauren Spierer was a 20-year-old college student at the University of Indiana. One of the two daughters of Charlene and Rob Spierer, she was beloved by her parents and had a wide circle of friends at school. She was also deeply involved at a local Jewish community. But things turned for the worst for Lauren when she left home for school. She started partying, drinking, and using drugs with friends, a transformation which would get her into some trouble.
