Someone Else Answers
Apparently, someone had been able to pick up her phone and they answered it when Kody called. They said that they were in Planet Hollywood and that Kody could get the phone from them at any time, and that they would wait for him to come. He knew if he wanted to eventually find Michelle again, her phone would be something that might help him succeed. So he made the journey by foot to the hotel.
