[Watch] Londoners Join Impromptu Dance Party To Celebrate End Of Underground Strikes

To celebrate the end of the London Underground strikes, Action Productions and The Liberators International collaborated to throw an inclusive pop-up dance party on August 11, 2015. The event was a “thank you” to all the tube drivers for returning to work after the strikes.

In the video, Peter Sharp of the Liberators hopped on board a busy Circle Line train to publicly thank the drivers and express his appreciation for them ending their strike. He goes on to invite all aboard the train to join him in an impromptu dance party – and you can see for yourself their reactions.

Said founder of Action Productions, Henry Hitchcox:

“Whether you think the strikes were justified or not, we just wanted to celebrate the fact that the tubes were back running again. And what better way to do that than to dance with other random commuters?”
