You are beautiful. While you may not fully accept this – yet, be aware that there are people in the world who perceive your gloriousness based on more than your physical appearance, and Shea Glover is one of them.
The eighteen-year-old from Chicago, Illinois was inspired to capture the faces of people she considers beautiful, and the humble collection (in the video) above is the result.
All those featured in the video are members of the high school she attends in Illinois. Some are students and faculty she is familiar with while others she did not know at all.
On her YouTube channel, Glover shares that capturing reactions was not the intent behind what turned into a social experiment.
“I want to clarify that my intentions were not to get a reaction out of people. I was simply filming beauty and this is the result.”
