Explaining Her Choice In Choosing Death
As days began to pass reaching her date of death on November 1, Brittany continued to defend her actions, explaining that since she didn’t have a choice to die, she could still make the choice of how and when it would happen. She explained, “The freedom is in the choice. If the option of death with dignity is unappealing to anyone for any reason, they can simply choose not to avail themselves of it. Those very real protections are already in place.” She even wrote her own article for CNN called, “My Right to Death with Dignity at 29.”
