Much of the US&#8217; political landscape for over a hundred years, and arguably long before, has been controlled by a small minority of wealthy families, individuals, and institutions with a specific agenda. Through political and economic machinations over the years, these groups and their minions have funded both sides of wars and profited from them. They are the corporations who pollute our planet and exploit us all. They are the banks which make us slaves to imaginary debt. Worse still, they own the politicians and police forces that are meant to serve us, yet they seek to undermine us and our \u201cdemocracy\u201d at every turn. Regardless of where you live, the following people and corporate entities are working against all of us, seeking only to procure still more power and influence and control every aspect of our lives. It&#8217;s about time we learned their names.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>1. J.D. Rockefeller, the US&#8217; first billionaire, was <a href=\"http:\/\/freedom-articles.toolsforfreedom.com\/flexner-report-rockefeller-ama-takeover\/\">responsible for monopolizing<\/a> the American Medical establishment over 75 years ago, and led the campaign to discredit other natural remedies in favor of the pharmaceutical industry he helped to create. He and his descendants later funded the <a href=\"http:\/\/educate-yourself.org\/nwo\/nwotavistockbestkeptsecret.shtml\">Tavistock Institute<\/a> for Human Relations, which used Freudian techniques to influence the opinion of the masses. Graduates of this institute went on to assume leadership roles in mainstream media, the government, and corporations. David Rockefeller is the only surviving grandson of J.D. Rockefeller, and, as such, continues his family&#8217;s dark legacy by using his incredible personal wealth. He <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usapoliticstoday.com\/david-rockefeller-says-conspiracy-about-one-world-order-is-true\/\">has openly admitted<\/a> that his family&#8217;s long-standing plan has been to create a one world government controlled by elites saying:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cSome even believe [the Rockefellers] are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as \u2018internationalists\u2019, conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure \u2013 one world, if you will. Monsanto<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-84096\" src=\"https:\/\/trueactivist.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/monsanto.jpg\" width=\"730\" height=\"411\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trueactivist.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/monsanto.jpg 644w, https:\/\/trueactivist.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/monsanto-400x225.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 730px) 100vw, 730px\" \/><br \/>\nMonsanto has been <a href=\"http:\/\/www.march-against-monsanto.com\/\">the subject of ire<\/a> for over a decade, most recently following <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2012\/09\/19\/monsanto-corn-study-france_n_1896115.html\">international studies<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.collective-evolution.com\/2013\/06\/14\/groundbreaking-study-links-monsantos-glyphosate-to-cancer\/\">revelations<\/a> regarding the carcinogenic nature of their best-selling pesticide Round-Up, also known as glyphosate. Monsanto, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gmwatch.org\/gm-firms\/10595-monsanto-a-history\">in the past<\/a>, helped contribute to atomic bomb research and created Agent Orange which was used to deforest large sections of Vietnam during the US invasion among other chemicals. Agent Orange alone caused half a million Vietnamese children to be born with deformities and poisoned over 3 million people. After GMOs were introduced in the country in 2002, poor Indian farmers became <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rt.com\/news\/206787-monsanto-india-farmers-suicides\/\">trapped in vicious debt cycles<\/a> after adopting GM seeds and herbicides. Originally marketed as a method to make farmers more productive and wealthier, they have instead become so indebted to foreign GM seed and agrochemical companies that many farmers have been taking their own lives. In 2009, <a href=\"https:\/\/trueactivist.com\/25000-indian-farmers-threatening-mass-suicide-after-government-destroyed-land\/\">the number of GM-debt related suicides was so high<\/a>, that an Indian farmer was estimated to commit suicide every 30 minutes. The situation in India has repeated itself in numerous other countries, but Monsanto has yet to be held accountable.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>3. Soros made it rich as a currency manipulator, famously making a billion dollars in one day by initiating a British financial crisis and betting on the outcome. During the 1997 Asian financial crisis, Soros was <a href=\"http:\/\/humanevents.com\/2011\/04\/02\/top-10-reasons-george-soros-is-dangerous\/\">accused by the Malaysian government<\/a> of bringing down the nation&#8217;s currency through his insider trading activities. Many of these <a href=\"http:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2016\/10\/18\/soros-connected-company-provides-voting-machines-in-16-states\/\">Soros-funded voting machines<\/a> malfunction and even switch votes. Soros also pushes for a \u201cone world government\u201d, and has worked to erode American sovereignty as well as the sovereignty of other nations in pursuit of that goal.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h2><b>4. With its development <a href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/insurge-intelligence\/how-the-cia-made-google-e836451a959e#.6k63zbc2l\">secretly funded by the CIA<\/a> from the outset, Google was intended to be \u2013 and has become \u2013 a tool of war against enemies of the U.S. government and anyone who stands in the way of the \u201cglobal order.\u201d<br \/>\nIn<a href=\"https:\/\/wikileaks.org\/the-gifiles.html\"> the Global Intelligence Files<\/a> published by Wikileaks, Stratfor\u2019s Fred Burton, who also once worked for the State Department, <a href=\"http:\/\/thefreethoughtproject.com\/julian-assange-google-cia\/\">wrote <\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/thefreethoughtproject.com\/julian-assange-google-cia\/\">of Google<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cGoogle is getting WH [White House] and State Dept support and air cover. In reality they are doing things the CIA cannot do . . . [Cohen] is going to get himself kidnapped or killed. Might be the best thing to happen to expose Google\u2019s covert role in foaming up-risings, to be blunt. In addition, Google <a href=\"http:\/\/www.politico.com\/magazine\/story\/2015\/08\/how-google-could-rig-the-2016-election-121548\">has been pegged<\/a> as having the ability to swing elections due to its influence on the internet\u2019s flow of information and is rumored to have the capability to predict one\u2019s online actions due to the massive amount of data it stores about their users \u2013 most of whom are unaware that Google logs every search they make and every YouTube video they watch.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>5. With so much money and so much power, the Rothschilds have incredible amounts of influence in US and international politics, so much so that even Hillary Clinton has <a href=\"https:\/\/trueactivist.com\/hillary-clinton-begs-forgiveness-from-rothschilds-in-leaked-email\/\">begged them forgiveness<\/a> in leaked emails. For instance, Nestl\u00e9 \u2013 the largest artificial baby milk producer \u2013 is largely responsible for the deaths of the 1.5 million infants who die annually due to being fed artificial milk over breast-milk, thanks to Nestl\u00e9\u2019s aggressive marketing. This disaster, considered the largest and most devastating oil spill in human history, dumped more than 200 million gallons of crude oil into the Gulf of Mexico. Even though the spill happened over 7 years ago, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dosomething.org\/facts\/11-facts-about-bp-oil-spill\">it is still washing up<\/a> along the Gulf Coast\u2019s shores and helped create <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/us-oil-spill-deadzone-idUSTRE6713YZ20100802\">a permanent hypoxic \u201cdead zone\u201d<\/a> near the spill\u2019s epicenter. The Gulf of Mexico\u2019s ecosystem and human economic activity based around it has been devastated and may never recover.<br \/>\nYet, even worse than BP\u2019s devastating oil spill \u2013 legally recognized to have been caused by the company\u2019s \u201cnegligence\u201d &#8211; has been its \u201cclean-up\u201d efforts. Instead of trying to remove the oil from the environment, despite the fact that such technology existed at the time, BP chose to use an oil dispersant that hides the oil from view but doesn\u2019t actually do anything to clean the environment. Worse still, the oil dispersant used \u2013 known as Corexit \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2013\/04\/25\/corexit-bp-oil-dispersant_n_3157080.html\">is actually highly toxic<\/a> and has been killing marine life in massive quantities. Halliburton is <a href=\"https:\/\/corporatewatch.org\/company-profiles\/corporate-watch-halliburton-overview\">one of the largest providers<\/a> of products and services to the fossil fuel industry but a considerable amount of their corporate profits come from civil and military projects, particularly for overseas U.S. operations. Most recently, Halliburton made headlines after it <a href=\"https:\/\/archives.fbi.gov\/archives\/neworleans\/press-releases\/2013\/halliburton-agrees-to-plead-guilty-to-destruction-of-evidence-in-connection-with-deepwater-horizon-tragedy\">pled guilty to destruction of evidence<\/a> regarding its role in the 2010 Deepwater Horizon (B.P.) oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.<br \/>\nHalliburton\u2019s connections to the U.S. military has protected it from prosecution, despite its numerous crimes. For instance, from 1992 to 2000, Halliburton <a href=\"https:\/\/corporatewatch.org\/content\/halliburton-corporate-crimes-0#burma\">forced thousands of villagers in Burma<\/a> to work on its pipelines and related infrastructure, often without pay. They lost their homes due to forced relocation and were raped, tortured and killed by soldiers hired by companies as security guards for the pipelines. While Cheney was the CEO of Halliburton, <a href=\"https:\/\/corporatewatch.org\/content\/halliburton-corporate-crimes-0#burma\">it was involved<\/a> in a cover-up of its widespread use of asbestos, a bribery scandal in Nigeria, a corruption scandal in Indonesia, and the poisoning of communities in New Mexico and Texas among others.<br \/>\nOf course, Halliburton is most famous for the war-profiteering racket that Dick Cheney\u2019s position as vice president enabled when the U.S. illegally invaded Iraq in 2003. Halliburton <a href=\"http:\/\/readersupportednews.org\/news-section2\/308-12\/16561-focus-cheneys-halliburton-made-395-billion-on-iraq-war\">reaped a nearly $40 billion profit<\/a> from the contracts it received following the U.S. invasion of Iraq.<br \/>\nHalliburton has <a href=\"https:\/\/corporatewatch.org\/content\/halliburton-corporate-crimes-0\">also been accused<\/a> of racial discrimination, gender discrimination, and of being viciously anti-union. In one case, taking place in Iraq, a female worker for a Halliburton subsidiary was <a href=\"https:\/\/thinkprogress.org\/court-rules-that-kbr-employees-gang-rape-wasn-t-a-personal-injury-arising-in-the-workplace-415e85f49563#.3eoljjhgq\">gang-raped by her co-workers<\/a> and Halliburton tried to cover it up. They tried to intimidate the female worker after the crime took place by trapping her in a shipping container without food or water for 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h2><b>14. Bayer soon established themselves as the dominant pharmaceutical company in Europe after trademarking aspirin a year later. However, Bayer then became involved in the manufacture of chemical weapons, including the invention of chlorine gas in World War I and its founding of a \u201cSchool for Chemical Warfare.\u201d<br \/>\nDuring World War II, Bayer \u2013 as part of the now defunct conglomerate IG Farben &#8211; produced all of Nazi Germany\u2019s explosives and used more than 83,000 forced laborers and concentration camp inmates in its factories. They also <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mega.nu\/ampp\/bayer.html\">financed torture<\/a> in concentration camps and manufactured the infamous Zyklon B, a cyanide-based pesticide that claimed the lives of over a million people in the gas chambers of Auschwitz and Majdanek. The white powder that resembles powdered milk and has no strong chemical odor was packaged in small plastic bags that provide no protection to users and give no indication of the danger of the product within. The bags were labeled in Spanish only, and carried drawings of healthy carrots and potatoes but no images indicating danger or toxicity.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h2><b>15. For instance, Rio Tinto, along with Freeport-McMoRan, owns the Grasberg mine in Indonesia \u2013 the world\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smithsonianmag.com\/science-nature\/environmental-disaster-gold-industry-180949762\/\">largest gold mine<\/a> and third-largest copper mine. It is also home to three of the world&#8217;s eight remaining equatorial glaciers as well as a sacred site for the indigenous people who also live off of the fragile ecosystem located around the mining site. Apart from slowly <a href=\"http:\/\/wwf.panda.org\/what_we_do\/where_we_work\/new_guinea_forests\/problems_forests_new_guinea\/mining_new_guinea\/papua_freeport_mine\/\">destroying huge sections<\/a> of the mountain top in search of gold and copper deposits, the mine uses more than a billion gallons of water a month and dumps over 230,000 tons of toxic waste into the local river on a daily basis. The pollution has killed nearly all plant life along its banks and has contaminated local drinking water supplies.
