At the end of that year, in December of 1996, Amber’s therapist at the time recommended that she receive residential therapy. Robert Creek was unable to pay for the pricey therapy, but knew that this was an important step at a pivotal point in Amber’s life. He was driven to do the unthinkable in the face of this crisis.
