Becoming A Grandmother At 23
Despite Rifca’s encouragement to continue to study and live a ‘bigger’ life than she did, her daughter Maria would follow in almost the exact same footsteps as she did. Maria would also get married at the age of 11 and have her first baby just 6 months after. She named her son, Ion, and Rifca would then become a grandmother at the youthful age of 23, reportedly becoming the youngest grandmother ever in the entire world.
