4. Trump Tower Was Constructed In Part By Illegal Immigrants Working For $4 An Hour

The company that President Donald Trump contracted to build Trump Tower hired 200 Polish workers who were in the country illegally. The workers were forced to work 12-hour shifts for a mere $4 to $5 an hour, and were able to get away with this because the employers didn’t have to comply with labor laws since the workers were undocumented. President Trump denied any knowledge of the illegal workers, but when they asked for the money they were owed, he threatened to have them deported.
