7. Skulls
Tattoos of skulls are one of many that are discriminated against and their history may contribute to the stigma surrounding them. Pirates use drawings of skulls on their ship to signify danger and intimidate merchant ships and towns they were about to loot. While many people with skull tattoos don’t mean to cause any harm to others, their body art can evoke a sense of fear that began to develop in humans centuries ago.
