Todd pleaded innocence, and all throughout the case, he never swayed from what he said. Though the evidence pointed to him, he still insisted that Guy Gabriel had something to do with her murder. He was the one who bludgeoned her to death, but it seemed to the jury that he was forgetting one thing, and that’s the fact that people could testify for Gabriel’s whereabouts.
