Users of the popular iPhone have become dependent on the Find My iPhone app. Ken’s program is able to do the very same thing and so much more. In fact, the police use his abilities to stop a child abuser in his or her tracks simply by looking at the images caught on camera. So, how exactly is he able to find clues beyond the things found on the picture?

The smart camera

There’s a program called the Stolen Camera Finder. What exactly is this? This is actually a web service that Ken was able to acquire. It uses an EXIF that high-end cameras models now have. Each EXIF works on every photo taken by tracking down the date, time, and location of the pictures. And even better, the camera finder can also trace the serial number of the camera being used. So, how can this work if your camera is stolen?
