Some have called this breathtaking growth of oak trees meeting each other above this road in the ruins of Wormsloe ‘the tunnel of trees,’ and it’s obvious why. And while Savannah is known for a number of things, this particular row of living fauna has grown a reputation for a reason. While some may call these trees creepy and others romantic, one thing’s for sure, they’re absolutely exquisite.

Another incredibly difficult landmark to get to is what’s called The Wave. Located in Arizona, it borders Utah and hikers are only allowed to go there with permits because they are considered ‘fragile.’ The Wave runs hundreds of feet long and wide, and made of Navajo Sandstone, which is thought to have formed as far back as the Jurassic Park. No wonder it’s so hard to be allowed entrance.
