Iridescent Pink Sand
If the Philippines is known for something, it’s for their mangoes and marvelous beaches. One particular island, which can be found in Northern Samar, is called Sila Beach. Not only does it have incredibly crystal clear waters, it’s more known for it’s iridescent pink sand. Apparently, the sand is pink because the white sand is mixed with red coral that’s been crushed naturally, creating its pink hue. However the sand is made, it’ll make you scratch your head and think, could this actually be real? And the answer is simple… yes.
