Josef knew that he needed to build the basic necessities for survival underground. And he also needed to ensure that it would be completely soundproof so that no one could hear the screaming if any. In 1982, his plans began to materialize as he placed plumbing for a sink and toilet, electrical pipes and working electricity, and rooms to house a few people. It was said that the corridors were impossibly narrow, and the ceilings were less than 6 feet high.
