Josef’s Bizarre Behavior
During the times that Josef spent below with his daughter and children, he tried to be the “father” that most children had. He would watch TV with them and buy toys for them, and he would bring Liesl to another room so the kids wouldn’t see when he was abusing her. At times, he would make Liesl look at pornography while he would touch himself. Other times, he would force her dress up and parade around for him in sexy lingerie. Unbelievably for Elisabeth, her father Josef raped her over 3,000 times in the 31 years of abuse.
