Rolex To The Rescue
When the body was pulled out of the water, the one thing that happened to be completely intact was a Rolex Oyster Perpetual watch that was still on the wrist of the dead body. When authorities contacted Rolex, they were able to trace the serial number of the watch to the owner, which was Ronald Platt. This was the first clue police would find into who the deceased man was.
