Getting Desperate
Walker knew that his embezzling ways were going to be found out sooner rather than later, so before he could get caught, he left Canada in 1990 and went to Europe. And what was even worse was that he would take his second daughter with him, who was only 15 years of age at the time. Supposedly all she knew was that they were going on a two-week holiday, which was what his wife had known as well, but Walker’s plan was to never return to his hometown, or to his family left behind in Canada.
