5. Cleanliness Is Key
Like many other bacteria, conjunctivitis is highly contagious. By simply touching an infected portion then touching something else, the disease is easily transported from on carrier to another. If you suspect you’re infected, be careful not to touch your eye at any time if possible since touching something else will transfer it. But if you do, then immediately wash your hands to wash away the bacteria, and be sure to wash often throughout the day. You can also change your beddings to make sure that the infection is under control.
